The Life Biochem team joined the Field AgroConsilium ’25 – a large-scale event that brought together leading international experts, scientists, and Ukrainian agrarians to collectively seek solutions to the current challenges of modern agriculture. The event became a unique platform where theory met practice: participants worked directly in the field, analyzed the condition of crops and soils, and discussed effective strategies for increasing fertility.

Life Biochem acted as the general partner of the project, whose main goal is the development of sustainable agricultural production and the restoration of the fertility of Ukrainian soils.

Format and Structure of the Event

The AgroConsilium consisted of several stages:

  • Educational block – a series of webinars and consultations with leading experts in nutrition, soil science, and cultivation technologies.
  • Field visits – soil diagnostics, root system analysis, and assessment of plant conditions at participating farms.
  • Final conference – a two-day meeting in Volyn, where agrarians had the opportunity to communicate with international experts, attend practical workshops, listen to over 15 substantive presentations, and participate in panel discussions.

Key Topics of the Consilium

  • optimization of pH and nutrition systems in challenging conditions;
  • effective use of mineral, organic, and microbiological products;
  • use of cover crop mixtures;
  • combating soil compaction;
  • practical recommendations for growing corn, barley, and soybeans.

International Expertise

Among the invited specialists were Dr. Ray Weil and expert Amy Bendi, who shared valuable recommendations on increasing yields and restoring soil health. The experts noted the strengths of Ukrainian farms – fertile soils, developed infrastructure, and active use of organic fertilizers. At the same time, key challenges were outlined: nutritional imbalances, excessive crop density, shortcomings in acidity control, and consequences of intensive tillage.

Life Biochem Analytics

As part of the project, Life Biochem presented its own analytics.
Bohdan Avramchuk gave a presentation titled “Increasing Soil Fertility: Biological Solutions and Field Practice,” presenting the results from farms that used Life Biochem bioproducts over the year. The obtained data confirmed the high effectiveness of biological solutions in real field conditions.

A Look into the Future

The final analytical session will be held in November 2025. Each participating farm will receive a personalized report with yield results, economic analysis, and practical recommendations for the 2026 season.

Field AgroConsilium ’25 proved that stable results are only possible with a harmonious combination of working with soil, a well-thought-out nutrition system, application of microbiological products, and implementation of green manures. This approach shapes a new reality for Ukrainian agribusiness where science, experience, and technology work towards sustainable development.
